Tragedy struck on Sunday evening as lightning-related strikes led to the untimely demise of at least ten individuals in several districts across Bihar, including Aurangabad, Gaya, Kaimur, Rohtas, and West Champaran, as reported by officials.

The district of Aurangabad bore the brunt of this natural calamity, with six lives tragically lost due to lightning strikes. Tragically, similar incidents occurred in four other districts, each resulting in the loss of one precious life. These districts were Kaimur, Rohtas, Gaya, and West Champaran.

In the district of Gaya, a solitary life was claimed while a person was engaged in the simple task of grazing buffaloes in the quiet village of Pratappur.

In Rohtas, another individual lost their life while tending to their farm, a heartbreaking reminder of the unpredictable nature of these events. Additionally, one life was extinguished near Bettiah, underscoring the widespread impact of the lightning strikes.

This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for vigilance and safety precautions during severe weather conditions, especially in regions prone to such natural phenomena.
