Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, in a heartfelt and intimate ceremony, tied the knot at The Leela Palace in Udaipur this past Sunday. Surrounded by their families and closest friends, the couple exchanged vows in a picturesque setting. According to a report from News18, the newlyweds are gearing up to host not one but two lavish wedding receptions, welcoming their friends from the entertainment industry as well as politicians.
Initially, there were reports of the actor and Aam Aadmi Party leader celebrating their union with a reception in Chandigarh. However, the latest news reveals that they intend to host two more receptions—one in the capital city of Delhi and another in bustling Mumbai.
A source was quoted saying, "The couple will host two reception dinners, one in Delhi and one in Mumbai. The one in the national capital will see a host of politicians. In Mumbai, Parineeti will be celebrating the next chapter of her life with her film industry friends."
Parineeti and Raghav arrived in Delhi on Monday, marking their first appearance as a married couple since the wedding ceremony in Udaipur.
Following their nuptials, the couple had previously hosted a reception for friends and family in Udaipur, where distinguished guests such as Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, and former tennis player Sania Mirza graced the festivities with their presence.
Parineeti and Raghav delighted their fans by sharing their official wedding album on Instagram on Monday, accompanied by a touching caption that read, "From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time... So blessed to finally be Mr. and Mrs! Couldn't have lived without each other… Our forever begins now."
The newlyweds were showered with love and best wishes from numerous celebrities. Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti's cousin, extended her blessings, while Anushka Sharma commented, "Congratulations (heart emoji)." The couple received heartfelt messages from a wide array of stars, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Alia Bhatt, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Bhumi Pednekar, and fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who also designed Parineeti's bridal attire and graced the wedding in Udaipur.
