Yami Gautam's portrayal in "Article 370" has resonated deeply with audiences nationwide, igniting enthusiasm at the box office. The film, rooted in true events, delves into a pivotal moment in history, capturing attention and garnering accolades, including praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During a rally in Sangareddy, Telangana, PM Narendra Modi lauded Yami Gautam's performance in "Article 370". He remarked, "We vowed to revoke Article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir, and the BJP fulfilled that promise in a manner that has inspired a film, 'Article 370'. The film is gaining popularity, marking a unique shift where people are engaging with such crucial issues through cinema. We also pledged to welcome Lord Ram at a grand temple in Ayodhya, and that promise too has been fulfilled."

Set against the backdrop of Jammu and Kashmir, "Article 370" portrays the monumental revocation of the article in the Indian Constitution, which conferred special status upon the erstwhile state. On August 5, 2019, the Union Government enacted its revocation. This high-energy, politically charged drama, led by Yami Gautam and directed by National Award-winner Aditya Suhas Jambhale, is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. "Article 370" hit cinemas on February 23.

Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the film also features Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar in prominent roles. India TV's Aseem Sharma, in his review, described "Article 370" as a compelling blend of emotions, patriotism, and political intrigue. Even for those familiar with the events in the Kashmir Valley and the abrogation of Article 370, the film promises an engaging experience throughout.
