‘Lightening changes the sky, storm transforms day into night, and when women power forcibly roars, it changes the course of history’, TEDx Speaker, Author, and Storyteller Jyoti Jha said during her address as ‘Gargi Brand Speaker’ in ‘Gargi Nari Shakti Sammelan 2024’ at J D Women’s College Patna by Gargi Chapter, Let’s Inspire Bihar. 

Women have been pivotal to transformational societal changes and the progress of nations. Throughout history, the catalytic role of women has ensured stability and essential reformational development. Established in the name of an enlightened and learned woman named Gargi from the Upanishads of the Vedic Age who emerged as an embodiment of intelligence, intellect, and boldness establishing herself in the ever-widening field of knowledge, Gargi Chapter of Let’s Inspire Bihar encourages women empowerment through excellent training to weaker sections of the society in several fields creating selfless social awareness and welfare done by women. Every year on Women’s Day, the Gargi Chapter organizes an event where the contribution of women in different fields is recognized, appreciated, and honored. This year, the event marked its grand success on 3rd March in the auditorium of J D Women’s College, Patna where 200 women achievers demonstrating outstanding contributions in diversified fields were commemorated. Thousands of applicants filled up the nomination form, and the selected women are making valuable contributions in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, art, literature, social service, sports, medicine, acting, dance, music, providing justice against domestic abuse, etc. All the commemorated women originally hail from Bihar and many had turned up for the event from different states across the country. Gargi Legendary Award (9), Gargi Gratitude Award (11), Gargi Achievers Award (125), Gargi Noble Educator’s Award (25), and Gargi Appreciation Award (30) were distributed during the event.

The program was graced by the eminent presence of Padmashree Vimal Jain, Padmashree Dulari Devi, Padmashree Sudha Varghese, Brigadier Ashutosh Singh, Mrs. Nisha Madan Jha, and many more dignitaries. The program was adorned with the powerful presence of the visionary and erudite leader IPS Vikas Vaibhav as Chief Guest, who inspired the guests, awardees, participants, organizers, and the audience with his words of wisdom. He said that we aim to create a developed Bihar in developed India by 2047 in which the role of women's power is very important. At present, about 1,00,000+ people have voluntarily joined the Let's Inspire Bihar campaign, resolved to build the brightest future of Bihar, in which Gargi Chapter has become the main pillar and platform of development-oriented women in Bihar and Gargi Pathshala, Gargi Kala Kaushal are popular in the society. The center recognizes excellence and spreads inspiration through many mediums.

Gargi Brand Speakers Jyoti Jha, Surabhi Aplesh, Anju Dhingra, and Shashish Kumar Tiwari shared their insight on women's empowerment and journey that aligns with the essence of womanhood and women power. ‘History is adorned with exemplary women empowerment, we need to redefine our present and future, and Let’s Inspire Bihar has initiated the forceful trend to recreate history”, Jyoti Jha said during her speech. She extended her heartfelt gratitude to IPS Vikas Vaibhav, Let’s Inspire Bihar and the powerpack of the Gargi Chapter for including her endeavors in the eminent list of Gargi Brand Speakers and the noble campaign. Jyoti Jha is an HR-turned-author, Columnist, and Storyteller. From corporate corridors at Infosys and Whirlpool to winning 'The Times of India Write India Season 3,' her journey is a tapestry of words. TEDx Speaker, Speaker at premier events like 'Times LitFest', ‘Pune International Literary Festival’, and prestigious institutes like IITs and IIMs, she's a proud winner of several literary awards. She has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Vidya Vachaspati) from Vikramsheela Hindi Vidyapeeth. Her upcoming book ‘Beyond Spectrum: Positive Parenting’ is on Autism Spectrum Disorder, inspired by MothersTouch School, Deoghar, run by another embodiment of women empowerment, Dr. RupaShree. She has authored, edited, and translated  12 books. Her Marathi-to-Hindi translation “Iran-Paarsiyon Ka Teerthkshetra’ by Hindi Sahitya Akademi Winner Dr. Avinash Biniwale was recently launched at the World Book Fair 2024 by Pustaknama. Her Hindi book ‘Aanandi’ has been adapted for theatrical representation by Saimona Creation under Let’s Inspire Bihar and has been picked up to be made into an audiobook by Pune-based Zankar Studio. Her poems have been published in International Anthology and Literature Festival Anthology, and she has contributed several articles to literary magazines, prominent media houses, and literary yearbooks. She contributes to both Hindi and English literature.

The grand success and high praise of the event were made possible by the team working relentlessly for it, women power Dr. Preeti Bala (Chief Coordinator-Gargi Chapter), Neha Singh, Shaereen Eram, Farha Naz, Shabnam Akhouri, Commander Deepika Mishra, Namrata Kumari. Rahul Kumar Singh, Ashish Adarsh, Binny Bala, Karishma, and many others were present on this occasion. Motivating the huge turnout of the audience present at the event and the people worldwide who witnessed the success and grandeur later through various channels, the spirit of womanhood and the strong message of women empowerment through the awareness that women need to come forward and equally participate in the betterment of the society, Let’s Inspire Bihar is all set to continue empowering the sections and strata of society for the overall development of Bihar and India.
