In a recent address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the INDIA alliance, branding them as "Ghamandiya" (arrogant) and accusing them of wanting to harm 'Sanatana Dharma'. This statement comes in the wake of a controversy sparked by Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of Tamil Nadu's chief minister, who advocated for the elimination of 'Sanatana Dharma'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a firm stance, stating, "Everyone should be vigilant. These individuals aim to set us back thousands of years by eliminating 'Sanatana'."

PM Modi also remarked, "The Ghamandiya alliance recently convened in Mumbai. This INDIA alliance lacks clear policies, issues, or a leader. Their hidden agenda appears to target Sanatan Dharma, which they seek to dismantle." Udhayanidhi's Controversial Remarks on 'Sanatana Dharma'

Udhayanidhi Stalin ignited controversy on September 3 when he likened 'Sanatana Dharma' to diseases like dengue and malaria, advocating not just opposition but complete eradication. "Some things cannot be merely opposed; they must be eradicated. We cannot merely oppose dengue, mosquitoes, malaria, or corona. Similarly, we must eradicate Sanatana, not just oppose it," he declared.

An FIR was subsequently filed against Udhayanidhi Stalin and Congress leader Priyank Kharge for "hurting religious sentiments."

Additionally, PM Modi took a swipe at the Congress party, asserting that during its rule, it had left Madhya Pradesh and its people economically disadvantaged." The Congress, which governed this state for decades, left it economically lagging behind other states. Previous generations remember how the Congress left the Bundelkhand region in dire need of water, electricity, and roads," PM Modi remarked. He added, "Under BJP rule, new roads have been constructed in every village, and every household has access to electricity. I am confident that Madhya Pradesh will witness substantial industrial growth in the days ahead."
