Born and brought up in New Delhi , finished her MBBS from Bangalore. Aspiring to practice in the USA but destiny brought her to a small town in Najibabad . After a difficult phase of adjustment she finally settled here and soon was running the first 24 x 7 hospital facility , since then there has been no looking back on the professional front she has been highly accepted and appreciated as a doctor . Her patients not only respect but love her communication skills and clear heartedness .
Not just in the field of medicine Dr Rakhi Anand Agarwal has been working for the benefit of society as a social activist from 2008 , which started as raising a voice against female foeticide later went on to making a song and a short film about importance of a girl child . She has raised this issue time and again in bijnor district which has even lead to a positive shift in gender ratio . She has inspired youth and visited several school and colleges to impart moral education and also lectures on medical issues such as menstrual hygeine and Pcod . Her NGO has empowered three thousand young girls with free of cost skill based training to make them financially independent . She solely raised voice against the malan river cleaniness and the whole town eventually joined her making her a malan activist.
This town Najibabad with lakhs of people had no playing ground her activism lead to sanctioning a mini stadium here . Her work for Tb mukt bharat has been appreciated by the Governer mam Anandiben patel . She has been awarded by various institutions .which she humbly accepts by saying that she is just following her purpose in life .
There has been a creative side to this multifaceted person she has worked in bollywood movies too with sanjay mishra , bijender kala and sham mashalkar and a series for history channel as mumtaz mahal , done advt for brands like Amazon and Microtek . She is a mother of 2 boys 17 and 14 yrs , elder one Arnnav has worked with Ranbir kapoor in a hero maestro advt . Her younger son wants to become a doctor like his parents .
