Baansera Park, located near Sarai Kale Khan, is all set to open its gates to the public this Saturday. Officials responsible for the park's development have announced the inauguration of a musical fountain and other bamboo-themed facilities by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, which took place on Friday.

Spanning an impressive 28 acres along the western banks of the Yamuna River, Baansera Park boasts an array of over 30,000 bamboo plants, showcasing more than 15 different varieties. To enjoy the offerings of this green oasis, adults will be required to purchase a ticket priced at ₹30, while children under the age of 10 will enjoy free entry.

Following the unveiling of these facilities at the park, Lieutenant Governor Saxena expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "The people of Delhi deserve more entertainment destinations where they can spend quality time with their families. We continuously strive to introduce such spots in the city. This entire area was previously a barren wasteland, which has been transformed by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) over the past six to seven months."

Park officials have shared that the musical fountain, located within one of the park's three water bodies, was installed by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). It will be operational for two half-hour shows daily, from Sunday to Tuesday, starting at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

Elaborating on the fountain's features, a DDA official stated, "The fountain, funded and established by DMRC, is equipped with digitally controlled LED lights that change colors, offering a variety of water effects and shapes through ultra-fast action jets. Additionally, the fountain presents daytime water features, including eight high column jets and one central high jet that reaches heights of 30-50 feet."
