At the time when we are reeling under the immense pressure of failure and expectations, the story of those people who have succeeded in their life acts as a boon for us. They do not just act as an instant catalyst for motivation but also helps us in understanding the mantra of success along with their mindset which have helped them to shape a bright future. And if these success stories are of those people who have stamped a mark despite the unheard hurdles, these stories become quite motivating. One such success story which is surely going us to create a long-lasting impact in our minds is of none other than Dr. Satyajit Kuchar.

Introduction

Whenever we talk about the journey of successful people, we find two categories of people. The first one is who had started everything from scratch and had made a name for themselves and the other category is of those people who carry forward the rich legacies of their family and most importantly are the worthy successors of that legacy. Dr. Satyajit Kuchar belongs to the second category. Born in a financially sound joint family of Doctors he is the Third generation Homoeopath.

A Different Set of Struggle

Unlike the success story of some people where they are born in a modest background and have financial struggles to make a career; Dr. Kuchar was born in a rich family. Financial element was never a part of his struggle. His struggle and journey are different. The biggest roadblock in his journey was too much expectations and constant comparisons with the benchmark set by the previous two generations.

Born with a silver spoon Dr. Kuchar himself says, “Some things were served to me in a platter, but my journey was not a cakewalk despite that.” His clinic was a birthday gift to him by his parents which gave him the luxury of not worrying about the payment of any EMI, rent or loan and he just had to take care of the operational cost. Dr. Kuchar firmly asserts, "Clinic can be purchased, staffs can be hired but the faith of patients cannot be purchased, it needs to be earned. Somethings are extremely easy when you are a third generation Homoeopath, and something are very difficult. You inherit money and knowledge but acquire wisdom over a period of time."

Driving Forces of Private Medical Practice

Practising a successful medical practice is quite a tedious task and Dr. Kuchar believes that there are few factors like:

  1. Word of Mouth
  2. Faith
  3. Previous Positive Experience
  4. Being Witness of Someone’s Betterment with Treatment

The uniqueness of a doctor is his trademark and as Dr. Kuchar says, “I never wanted to be a copy of my father, grandfather, uncle or aunt as a copy is never respected.” Dr. Kuchar is a constant better version of himself with his learning, wisdom and experience. Dr. Kuchar is one of the most busiest and successful homeopath of his city who sees 80 to 100 patients in a single day. Dr. Kuchar is a firm believer of the fact, “Faith of patients is earned by results and consistent results. Even patients are observing and judging you and comparing you with you senior doctors in family and other doctors.”

The Driving Forces of Dr. Satyajit Kuchar

Dr. Kuchar has his own set of beliefs and thought process which keeps him going and he believes that these few aspects are quite necessary for him to keep him moving forward. He always says, “One cannot be complacent even after being successfully established! Everyday is different, every case is different and a new challenge. It is difficult to establish practice, so it is to maintain and increase it.”

  1. Benchmark set by my two generations
  2. Rat race and cutthroat competition
  3. Realization that despite of so many doctors, patient wants to trust me and get my treatment
  4. Every patient is a living example of what we study in medical books

A Multi-faceted Personality

Dr. Kuchar is not just carrying the legacy of his forefathers very successfully but has also practised his wisdom to other fields. He has penned down a book on homeopathy titled, ‘Widening horizons in study of Homoeopathy: Eye-opening and thought-provoking insights’ in 2020. He is currently working on one another book which is going to hit the market very soon. Apart from practising and penning about homeopathy, Dr. Kuchar loves to give guidelines to young doctors and students regarding how to study and practise homeopathy in a better way. A firm-believer of the thought process, “One need to be really a good doctor to be successful along with patience, perseverance, determination, sincerity and hardwork and most importantly readiness to be better version of yourself in course of time.” which he considers the success mantra of his life.
