Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla will commence on January 16, a week before the main event. Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, will officiate the main rituals of the consecration ceremony on January 22. Ayodhya will observe the Amrit Mahautsav from January 14 to January 22, marking the lead-up to the momentous occasion.
To enhance the spiritual experience for devotees, a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya will be organized, providing thousands of devotees with nourishment. Tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate the influx of devotees expected to converge in the temple town of Uttar Pradesh for the grand consecration. The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust is making arrangements to accommodate 10,000-15,000 people.
