In a significant development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi oversaw the distribution of more than 51,000 appointment letters to recently recruited individuals through a virtual conferencing session. The event also featured the Prime Minister addressing the recruits during the ceremony.

Marking a crucial milestone, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the 8th edition of the Rozgar Mela, a job fair that spans 45 different locations throughout the nation.

During this occasion, PM Modi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the freshly inducted recruits for their successful induction into their roles. He also took the opportunity to discuss the achievement of Chandrayaan-3, India's lunar exploration mission.

Addressing the recruits, he remarked, "I extend my congratulations to each of you for assuming the role of 'Amrit Rakshaks' for the people of India during this transformative era. This edition of the Rozgar Mela is taking place at a time when our nation is brimming with pride and self-assurance. Notably, our Chandrayaan mission, alongside its rover Pragyan, continues to transmit remarkable images from the Moon."

He went on to express his unwavering belief in India's potential economic prowess. "I assure you that within this decade, India will rank among the world's top three economies. This guarantee comes with a profound sense of responsibility. The tourism sector alone is projected to contribute over Rs 20 lakh crore to the Indian economy by 2030, potentially generating 13-14 crore new jobs," he emphasized.

Highlighting reforms in the recruitment process for paramilitary forces, the Prime Minister illustrated the government's commitment to creating diverse opportunities for the youth.

Anticipating future growth, he underscored the rapid advancements in the automobile and pharmaceutical industries, predicting that they will unleash significant employment opportunities in the days ahead. "From nourishment to pharmaceuticals, from space exploration to startups, growth across all sectors is imperative for a robust economy," he remarked.

Reflecting on the anniversary of the Jan Dhan Yojana launch, which took place nine years ago on the same day, PM Modi credited the initiative not only for its financial benefits but also for its role in fostering job creation.

The distribution of appointment letters during the Rozgar Melas, organized by both the Central Government and various state/union territory governments, forms a key component of the strategy. The Prime Minister's Office has confirmed that PM Modi will oversee the distribution of 51,106 appointment letters to the new appointees.

"The Rozgar Mela will span across 45 locations nationwide. Through this event, the Ministry of Home Affairs is enlisting personnel for several central armed police forces (CAPFs), including the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), as well as the Delhi Police. These recruits, selected from various corners of the nation, will assume diverse roles, including Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (General Duty), and Non-General Duty Cadre positions across various organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs," clarified the PMO.

The PMO further highlighted the potential for enhanced performance of the CAPFs and the Delhi Police through this bolstering of personnel. The recruits, chosen from across the country, will be stepping into roles ranging from Constable (General Duty) to Sub-Inspector (GD) and Non-GD Cadre Posts across various organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

"The Rozgar Mela stands as a testament to the Prime Minister's unwavering dedication to prioritizing employment generation. This initiative is poised to act as a catalyst in furthering employment opportunities and providing the youth with meaningful avenues for empowerment and active participation in the nation's development," concluded the PMO.
