A woman of substance with empathy, honesty, and simplicity, Namrata Kumari is an educator who spreads knowledge and a humanitarian who serves society. Implementing her teaching techniques as a Government School Teacher, to help slum children develop important life skills, she has been awarded with several accolades and accomplishments in both the teaching profession and her social contribution. Affected by polio in her right arm at the tender age of 5, she didn’t let her weakness get in the way of her grit, determination, and resilience to build a successful life for herself, her family, and society. As a leader of the Bihar Secondary Teachers Association, she has also protested the wrong policies of the government. Aggrieved by the distressing state of wage earners during COVID-19, she joined IPS Vikas Vaibhav-led Let’s Inspire Bihar to help create a better Bihar and country through Education, Egalitarianism, Entrepreneurship, Literature, Art & Culture.
