The star Indian Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra came frustratingly close to being a Winner in the Diamond League 2024 before failing by just 1cm to finish Second with a throw of 87.86m. Neeraj Chopra who won the Diamond League Trophy in 2022 had also sadly finished Second in 2023.
Anderson Peters from Grenada secured the First Position with a throw of 87.87m whereas Julian Weber from Germany secured the Third Position with a throw of 85.97m.
Anderson Peters will receive a Diamond League Trophy and $30,000 for emerging as the Winner whereas Neeraj Chopra will collect a sum of $12,000 for being the First Runner-Up and Julian Weber a sum of $7,000 for being the Second Runner-Up in the Diamond League Final.
