In a surprising revelation, YouTuber Elvish Yadav, who clinched the victory in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale over a month ago by defeating Abhishek Malhan, has disclosed that he has not yet received his promised cash prize of ₹25 lakh. This startling admission came during a recent episode of the show "Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill."

During the conversation, Shehnaaz Gill playfully inquired about Elvish's phone collection, to which he responded that he already owned three phones. Amused, Shehnaaz asked when he planned to purchase a fourth phone. Elvish's reply was equally candid, stating, "I will buy the fourth one too when the makers of Bigg Boss send me ₹25 lakh." Shehnaaz reacted with surprise, exclaiming, "This is wrong."

Elvish Yadav's triumph in Bigg Boss OTT 2 was historic as he became the first wild card contestant to secure victory on August 14. Despite joining the competition midway, his immense popularity propelled him to victory, outshining fellow YouTuber Abhishek Malhan. Along with the cash prize and the prestigious Bigg Boss OTT trophy, the winner was also promised a lifetime supply of free food.

Elvish Yadav shared an intriguing detail about his win, revealing that he received nearly 280 million votes in the last 15 minutes of the finale, possibly contributing significantly to his victory. In a video clip from a hotel room shortly after being declared the winner, Elvish disclosed that a JioCinema official informed him that he had garnered "28 crore votes in just 15 minutes."

Elvish stated, "After the finale got over, I went inside, and the head of JioCinema, who runs the show, asked me, 'Do you know how many votes you received in 15 minutes?' I asked how many, and was told I got 280 million."

It remains to be seen when Elvish Yadav will finally receive his much-awaited ₹25 lakh prize money from Bigg Boss OTT 2.
