The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has opened a window of opportunity for students who have registered for the matriculation and intermediate annual examination in 2024 to rectify any errors on their registration cards. Students who have registered now have until September 20, 2023, to make necessary corrections.

According to the official notice issued by the board, corrections can be made for errors such as misspelled names of students, parents' names (short spelling, e.g., A, E, K, M, etc.), discrepancies in photographs, incorrect dates of birth, caste, religion, nationality, gender, subjects, and more. The deadline for these corrections is set for September 20, 2023.

To initiate corrections, students are required to first identify and correct the errors on their own. Subsequently, they must provide a photocopy of the corrected card, bearing their signature, to the school authorities for further processing. School heads will then undertake the necessary modifications in the student's details through the online system.

In addition to this correction window, the board has also extended the deadline for online registration for the matriculation and intermediate annual examination in 2024. Students who were unable to register within the original timeline now have the opportunity to register until September 20, 2023. Registration cards for candidates who register by this date will be issued on September 21, 2023.
