The feature film 'Mandali' has achieved a remarkable feat by being selected for the Indian Panorama, a prominent component of the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in 2023. Joining the ranks of distinguished films such as 'Kantara' and 'The Kerala Story,' 'Mandali' is one of the 25 feature films chosen for screening from a pool of 408 contemporary Indian feature films. This selection highlights the vibrancy and diversity of the Indian film industry.

Directed by Rakesh Chaturvedi Om, 'Mandali' delves into the exploitation of Ramleela by incorporating lewd dances in small towns for financial gain. The film features an ensemble cast, including Rajniesh Duggall, Brijendra Kala, Aanchal Munjal, Abhishek Duhan, and Vineet Kumar, in prominent roles.

Director Rakesh Chaturvedi Om said, "This is indeed a very joyous and proud moment for us. Our film has been chosen for IFFI 2023, in the category of films that mirror Indian Cinema. At this crucial juncture in our film's release, this news feels like a significant victory. Being selected for the Government's official festival is an honor and a privilege."

Producer Prashant Kumar Gupta also shared his excitement, stating, "We are just three days away from the film's release, and this selection in the Indian Panorama Section at IFFI has come as a delightful surprise. For an independent film like ours, this recognition is truly a blessing."

'Mandali' is produced by Prashant Kumar Gupta, Geetika Gupta, and Neetu Sabarwal of Reltic Pictures and boasts an ensemble cast that includes Kanwaljeet Singh, Alka Amin, Ashwath Bhatt, Saharsh Shukla, and Neeraj Sood.
