The vibrant city of Hyderabad is being a testament to traditional, contemporary, and abstract styles of the art of legends as the State Gallery of Art is hosting a one-of-a-kind International Art Show from 13th Sept. to 17th Sept. celebrating both the past and present of the art world. The exhibition features an impressive 200 artworks by 200 artists, including the masterpieces of renowned legends such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, MF Hussain, Akbar Padamsee, and FN Souza. The exhibition is curated by PJ Stalin, M Shankar, and Ashok Macha.
While paying tribute to these doyens of art, the exhibition also embraces the present art. The contemporary section boasts modern, experimental pieces that reflect today’s trends. With contributions from artists from Germany and England, the event has an international flair, adding depth and dimension to the art on display.
“Bringing the works of the great masters into a gallery that also celebrates emerging and contemporary artists is a rare treat,” said Stalin adding, “It’s not just about showcasing art but creating a dialogue between eras, showing how the art of legends continues to inspire today’s creatives. Art transcends boundaries and time. The inclusion of international artists lets us see how art evolves across cultures, yet continues to speak a universal language.”
